Creating counters in After Effects is unnecessarily complicated.

Because of that I created a counter preset with options that include number of decimals, separate thousands by either commas, periods or no separation, enable a unit (whatever unit you like), have the unit before or after the number, have the unit and number separated by a space and more.

❗️IMPORTANT: If you get en error message in an expression, make sure you have JavaScript enabled by going to Project Settings, then Expressions and make sure you have the expressions engine set to JavaScript and not Legacy Extendscript. If that doesn't work, send me an email and I'll see what I can do.
